Cuyamaca 100k Training Run: Loop 3

  • 03 Sep 2022
  • 7:00 AM
  • Sunrise Trailhead

Start at the Sunrise Trailhead on Sunrise Hwy. Sunrise is the first aid station on loop 3 of the course. Run along the PCT to the north, cross the road at Pedro Fages, and head for Camp Cuyamaca (mile 11 of this route), fill up with water, and head back up to Sunrise for a total of 18 miles. We'll see you there with some post run libations.

The start of each of these runs are fee areas, and you will need to pay $10 via the State Park's parking app. The East Mesa Parking area, just past the Park Boundary on Hwy 79 is not yet a fee area and would be a good place to meet for a carpool if you wanted to save $$.

We will do our best to mark the course for all of these runs, but please familiarize yourself with each route ahead of time, and bring a copy of the maps and/or turn by turn directions if you don't know the trails. All are welcome at the runs whether you are a registered runner or not. Bring your friends!
